Bodies of three men have been discovered in separate locations across Balochistan, according to police and Levies officials. The incidents were reported in Panjgur, the Nag area of Washuk, and the Dhadar area of Kachhi district.

In Panjgur’s Pirey Jahlag area, a man was found shot dead. The body was transferred to the Teaching Hospital for identification, which has not yet been established. Police sources state that the victim appeared to have been targeted.

In Washuk’s Nag region, local Levies officials reported that armed assailants abducted a man from his home in the Bansar area late at night. His body was later found dumped near the Bansar Charahi locality. The deceased has been identified as Mullah Dawood, son of Jan Muhammad, a resident of Nag Bansar. His body was shifted to the RHC hospital. The motive behind the killing remains unknown.

Meanwhile, in the Chandrami area of Dhadar, district Kachhi, police discovered the body of an unidentified man bearing signs of severe torture. According to police reports, the victim had been strangled. The body was moved to the Civil Hospital Dhadar, where Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Zahid confirmed visible marks of torture.

These incidents underscore the ongoing cycle of violence in Balochistan, where targeted killings, enforced disappearances, and human rights violations remain widespread. Balochistan has long faced unrest linked to the independence movement and military operations. Rights groups have repeatedly voiced concern over the state’s failure to curb such violence or hold perpetrators accountable.

The discovery of these bodies adds to the growing climate of fear and insecurity in the region, where families of victims often await justice in vain.
