At least seven young men have reportedly been forcibly disappeared from different parts of Balochistan, allegedly by Pakistani forces, according to local sources.

Javed Baloch, a journalist from the coastal city of Gwadar, claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that two of his close relatives, Zakir Somar and Naseem Hameed, were taken from Ghati Dhur Chowk in Gwadar.

Separately, in Panjgur district, Pakistani forces allegedly raided the house of Rahim Bakhsh at around 11 a.m. on Saturday. Local sources said that his three sons—Irshad, Siddique, and Zahir—were detained during the raid and taken to an undisclosed location.

Meanwhile, in Barkhan, two men identified as Aslam Khetran and Baloch artist Nadi Gulaf Marri were reportedly forcibly disappeared by individuals in plain clothes driving a government-plated vehicle.

It should be noted that in the first month of this year alone, around two dozen cases of enforced disappearances of Baloch individuals have been reported from various parts of Balochistan.

Organizations working against enforced disappearances in the region allege that Pakistani forces have intensified these actions to spread fear. These groups continue to demand an immediate end to enforced disappearances and call for accountability.
