The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released a video featuring Bahar Ali, also known as Karwan, a member of its Majeed Brigade, who carried out a suicide attack targeting a bus in a Pakistani military convoy in Turbat on January 4.
The video, published on the BLA’s official media channel “Hakkal,” contains messages addressed to the Baloch nation, Pakistan, China, other nations, and his family. It also features footage of his preparations for the attack, showing a vehicle loaded with explosives and the moment of detonation.
In the video, Bahar Ali is seen undergoing military training before addressing viewers. “A heartfelt salute to my nation and our martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for this land,” he says.
He accuses Pakistan of atrocities against the Baloch people, citing violence, abductions, and enforced disappearances. “To defend our homeland, we are ready to make every sacrifice, including our lives. Our comrades have never stepped back, and neither will we,” he declares, vowing that the Baloch people will expel Pakistan from the region.
Bahar Ali describes his decision to undertake the “fidayee” mission as a contribution to what he calls a national liberation struggle. “Pakistan is nothing and will be annihilated. God willing, victory will be ours,” he asserts.
He calls on Baloch men, women, and youth to join the struggle, warning that history will not forgive those who remain passive. “This is a battle for our homeland’s future. Without action, the dream of an independent Balochistan will remain unfulfilled,” he says.
Bahar Ali recalls waiting years for the opportunity to carry out a “fidayee” mission, adding that arms are the only means to achieve freedom against an oppressive state. He references the sacrifices of previous fighters, including Shari, Sumaiya, Mahal, and Ustad Aslam, asserting that their actions paved the way for the current struggle.
He warns Pakistan and foreign powers, including China, that the Baloch people will not tolerate external occupation. “We are prepared to defend our homeland with explosives strapped to our chests if necessary. The Majeed Brigade does not fear death,” he says.
Addressing his family, Bahar Ali encourages them to remain proud and steadfast, noting that many Baloch mothers have sent their sons to fight for freedom. “Today it is me; tomorrow, another youth or sister will take up this fight,” he adds.
He insists the Majeed Brigade’s attacks will continue with greater intensity. “Pakistan, you stole our freedom. We will not let you live in peace. You took our happiness, and we will not let you sleep in peace,” he declares.
Bahar Ali concludes by reiterating the BLA’s ultimate goal of a free and independent Balochistan. “This is the path introduced by Shaheed General Aslam, and we will continue to follow it until Balochistan is liberated from all occupying forces,” he says.
