The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a “pro-independence” armed group, has claimed responsibility for three separate attacks targeting Pakistani forces and an alleged agent in Balochistan’s Panjgur, Noshki, and Turbat regions.

In Panjgur district, an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near a military vehicle in the Jain area of Paroom tehsil on Thursday. Local sources said that the explosion damaged the vehicle and caused casualties.

The BLA, in a statement, said its fighters carried out the attack. “BLA fighters targeted a vehicle belonging to the occupying Pakistani army convoy in Paroom’s Jain area using a remote-controlled IED. The explosion eliminated two enemy personnel on the spot and wounded at least three others,” said BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch.

In a separate incident in Noshki, armed men attacked a Pakistani forces’ post in the Gulangur area on Wednesday night. Local sources said the attack caused damage to the post, and a helicopter was seen arriving at the forces’ headquarters shortly afterward.

The BLA also claimed responsibility for the Noshki attack, stating: “BLA fighters used modern weaponry, eliminating one enemy personnel and injuring at least two others.”

In Turbat’s Noduz area, a man identified as Gohram, son of Elahi Bakhsh, was shot dead. The BLA described him as an “informant and agent” working for Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies.

In its statement, the group alleged that Gohram was involved in aiding military operations against the Baloch people and accused him of harassment, blackmail, and drug trafficking. “Other agents associated with this network are on our hit list and will face the same fate,” the BLA said.

As of the time of this report, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has not issued any statement regarding the attacks.
