The statue of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, installed on the Panjgur Airport Road, has been vandalized once again by unknown individuals. This incident marks the second time the statue has been damaged in the area.

The statue, which was recently installed, had previously been attacked at a different location in Panjgur’s Nawab Akbar Bugti Chowk, where it was removed and taken away by unidentified individuals. In that earlier incident, the statue, depicting Nawab Bugti riding a camel, was uprooted from its position.

The area where the statue stood is considered an upscale part of Panjgur. The recent act of vandalism has caused concern among local residents, who were alarmed to see the statue lying on the ground along with the camel sculpture when they awoke this morning.

As of now, there has been no official statement from authorities regarding the incident.

Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti was a prominent political figure who was killed in 2006 during a military operation in the Teratani area of Balochistan. The statue was based on a famous image of Nawab Bugti traveling through the mountains on a camel, which has become symbolic of his legacy.
