Pakistani forces have allegedly forcibly disappeared a youth from Khuzdar district of Balochistan on Monday.
According to reports, a large-number of Pakistani troops carried out a house to house search operation in Zehri town of Khuzdar and assaulted women and children while a youth was allegedly forcibly disappeared during the raids.
The missing youth has been identified as Bilal Ahmad son of Ustad Mohammad Bakhsh Miraji.
Local sources told the TBP correspondent that the Pakistani forces carried out several search operations in Zehri and tortured women and children and ransacked the houses. Zehri residensts said that Pakistani forces searched the houses in the town from 1:00 am to 8:00 am.
In another but similar development, Pakistani forces reportedly conducted another search operation in Yakbuzi area of Khuzdar, where several houses were raided and people were subjected to torture. However, no arrests were reported in the aforementioned raid.
The district authorities have not yet presented their position in this regard.
It’s pertinent to mention that such incidents are not uncommon in Balochistan and are reported on a daily basis with an increase in cases of enforced disappearances. On the other hand, the families of the missing persons are constantly recording their protest for the safe recovery of their loved ones.
