The incident, which reportedly occurred in the Bus Adda area of Padi Ganj, saw Abdul Zahir, the son of Haji Ghulam Muhammad Bangulzai, being assaulted by unidentified assailants who were on a motorbike, before fleeing the scene.

During the assault, two bystanders – Atar Shah, the son of Zahoor Shah, a resident of Kardegap, and Abdul Khaliq, son of Abdul Qayyum Mengal – were also injured. Both are currently receiving medical treatment.

In the aftermath, the local administration responded swiftly, transferring the victims to the Shaheed Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Memorial Hospital. Law enforcement has reportedly initiated a search operation to arrest the suspects involved.
