Sorth Lohar, chairman of Voice for Missing Persons of Sindh, an organization working for the recovery of Sindhi missing persons, said in a statement that the military operations in Sindh have been intensified. Pakistan Rangers and Police carried out raids on houses, ransacked the homes of the Sindhi nationalists, tortured women and forcibly abducted Zafar Qambrani, brother of Muzaffar Qambrani, who was also forcibly disappeared two days ago.

Muzaffar and Zafar Qambrani’s family while protesting at the Meharh Press Club, said that Pakistani forces had abducted Muzaffar from Jamshoro and Zafar from Meharh village.

Lohar said that several people from different areas of Sindh have gone missing this week. Pakistani forces have abducted Faqir Noor Chandio, Muhammad Ali Chandio, Aqib Chandio, Parvez Chandio, Hamid Chandio, Zahid Chandio, Ashfaq Dal, Javed Shoro, Waqar Panhoor, Fida Lakho, Amanullah Lashari, Sanaullah Lashari, and dozens of other nationalist workers last week, she added.

Meanwhile, the VMP-Sindh has given a call for protests across Sindh, notably in Karachi and Hyderabad, for the safe release of missing persons.
