Three individuals have gone missing in the provincial capital Quetta without a trace, allegedly at the hands of Pakistani security forces.

According to the details, the Pakistani security and intelligence forces carried out a raid in the Hazarganji area of Quetta and “forcibly disappeared” three individuals and moved them to an unknown location. The individuals have been identified as Manzoor s/o Ghani Khan Laangani, Bozo Khan s/o Nazar Khan Laangani and Nabal Jatoi.

Bozo Khan ran a shop in the Hazarganji and Nabal Jatoi worked as a watchman. The former had been “abducted” along with his brother Meera Khan from Harnai in the past. He was kept in confinement for five years and then released, but his brother remains missing to this day. It seems Bozo Khan’s days of freedom were numbered – he has been “abducted” once again, and who knows if he’ll see the light of the day again.

The family members of the missing individuals are fearing that their loved ones have been “forcibly disappeared.” It was recently revealed that the Counter-Terrorism Department of Pakistan had executed four Baloch missing persons in the Marwar area of Bolan in a fake encounter. This grim revelation has only intensified the concerns of the family members of the missing persons.
