Voice of Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) camp in Quetta, completed 3926 protesting days today, on Thursday.

Abdullah Baloch, Abdul Ghaffar Baloch and several other political and social activists from Sibi visited the camp and expressed their solidarity with the relatives.

VBMP leader Mama Qadeer Baloch said on the occasion that “brutal state actions of forcibly disappearing Baloch youth in occupied Balochistan and murdering some of them and throwing their mutilated bodies is consistently underway. The state is pursuing the stupid plan of eliminating the manpower and spreading panic within the Baloch nation to crush the peaceful struggle of the missing persons’ families

He said that the Baloch national issue has become a serious humanitarian and unresolved dispute internationally. US Department of State and British parliamentarians talking about forced disappearances and mass graves in Balochistan.

He said that efforts were being made to reduce the international pressure by placing a false mask of humanity and civilization on Pakistan’s notorious brutal face of state terrorism.

VBMP was formed by the families of missing persons to raise voice against forceful disappearances in Balochistan, allegedly by Pakistani security forces. VBMP has organized numerous events, protests and rallies, including a long walk from Quetta to Karachi and then to Islamabad.

As per VBMP, as many as 45,000 Baloch men, women and children have been disappeared, who are languishing in torture cells.

VBMP also alleges that at least 5,000 missing persons have been killed and dumped over last one decade.
