The Balochistan post has received reports that suggest Pakistani forces are preparing for another military offensive in Noshki and adjoining areas.

Gunship helicopters have been seen flying low over Noshki town this morning. Locals have also reported large number of military personnel arriving to Noshki military camps.

This follows last week’s military operation in Hirvaaz area of Band Do Seh, Noshki. At least two people died when Hirvaaz village was shelled by US supplied gunship Cobra helicopters. The operation that began on 18 August 2017 continued until the next day.  On 21 August, The Balochistan Post had broadcast video evidence of the military operation.

Yesterday, Pakistani forces had distributed pamphlets warning civilians to evict Munjro, another area near Noshki, or they will be targeted forcing many to flee the area.
