A female professor has been found dead in Quetta in her home, daughter-in-law has been arrested for investigation.

According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, Rehanna Sami, a female professor has been found dead at her home in Quetta.

Ms Sami was residing in a house with her daughter-in-law at Arbab Karam Khan road.

According to the police, they found torture marks on the dead body, after which, they arrested the daughter-in-law of the victim for further investigation as she was the only person in the house, when the professor died.

In other news, unknown armed men opened fire on a vehicle in Panjgur, killing one person and injuring another on Saturday.

According to TBP correspondent, the incident took place near ‘Peskol’, where armed men opened fire on a civilian vehicle. As a result, one person was killed on the spot while another was injured.

The injured was later moved to Karachi for treatment.

The victim was identified as Haji s/o Musa, a resident of Tasp town. Reasons for the attack remain unknown.
