The bodies of two men were recovered in separate incidents in Balochistan’s Kharan and Panjgur districts, local and police sources said on Sunday.
In Kharan district, the body of Yasir, son of Faizullah, was found a day after he was taken away by unidentified armed men from the Bab-e-Kharan area, local sources said.
Yasir, a resident of Kharan city, worked as a cook for the deputy inspector general of police in Kharan, the sources said.
The motive for the killing and the identity of those responsible were not immediately known.
In a separate incident, police identified a mutilated body found near a grid station in Panjgur’s Jaffar Scheme area as Najam, son of Abdul Rahim, a resident of Washbood.
The body was taken to Teaching Hospital Panjgur for identification and legal formalities, police sources said.
