Pakistani forces continued ground and aerial operations in several parts of Balochistan’s Khuzdar district, with shelling in Wadh killing one person and several livestock, local sources said.
Military gunship helicopters shelled several locations in the Surgarh area of Ornach, while flights continued over the area, sources added.
Ground and aerial operations have been underway in parts of Wadh, Ornach and Zehri in recent days.
A day earlier, Pakistani forces carried out artillery fire and shelling in the Darakala Gaslati area of Wadh, killing a local resident and several livestock. Residents later staged a sit-in on the highway with the deceased’s body.
The latest reports come amid wider aerial and ground operations in several parts of Balochistan. Last week, a mosque and a madrassa were damaged in shelling by gunship helicopters in Mastung’s Khadkocha area, while several livestock were killed in separate military shelling in Kharan.
