The “pro-independence” Baloch armed group, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for nine separate operations carried out across Dasht, Tump, Nushki, Barkhan, Hub, Mand, and Chagai, alleging that seven Pakistani forces personnel were killed and several others wounded.

In a statement issued on May 25, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said fighters targeted a Pakistani forces convoy consisting of four vehicles in the Sabdan area of Dasht using heavy weapons. According to the statement, one vehicle came under direct attack, killing the driver and three personnel on the spot while injuring several others.

The BLF also stated that its fighters attacked a Pakistani military checkpoint in the Kasanu area of Tump on May 24 using rockets and heavy weapons. The group claimed surveillance cameras installed at the checkpoint were destroyed and that Pakistani forces suffered casualties and material losses.

In another claimed attack on May 24, BLF fighters allegedly targeted a military convoy vehicle in the Sarmall area of Nushki with a remote-controlled bomb. According to the statement, the vehicle was completely destroyed, four personnel were killed, and several others wounded.

The group further claimed that on May 23 its fighters established a blockade on the N-70 Highway in the Chang Nadhi Chappar area of Rakhni Barkhan, where vehicles were searched and monitored for several hours. During the blockade, the BLF said fighters seized and burned a coal-laden truck transporting natural resources and destroyed surveillance cameras installed along the highway.

According to the statement, Frontier Corps personnel stationed nearby attempted to advance toward the area during the blockade but were forced to retreat after coming under attack from BLF fighters positioned defensively.

The BLF additionally claimed responsibility for attacks carried out on May 22 against Frontier Corps personnel involved in constructing a military post and road in the Bhawani area of Hub, as well as another attack on a Pakistani military camp in Soro, Mand. The group claimed casualties and material losses in both incidents.

In another operation reportedly carried out on May 20 in the Dureji area of Hub, BLF fighters allegedly targeted two vehicles transporting precious stones by firing on them and puncturing their tires. The group described the action as part of its campaign against mineral transportation activities in Balochistan.

The statement also claimed that BLF fighters attacked a Pakistani military post in the Rodbun area of Tump on May 20 using heavy weapons and destroyed surveillance cameras installed at the site.

In Chagai’s Karodik area, the group stated that its fighters established another temporary blockade on May 20, conducting snap-checking and monitoring vehicles for approximately three hours.

Separately, the United Baloch Army claimed responsibility for destroying a central bridge in the Sanni Rodi Kahoor area of Kachhi district on May 25.

In a statement issued by UBA spokesperson Mazaar Baloch, the group said the bridge was destroyed using explosives, alleging it was regularly used by Pakistani forces for logistical supply and operational movement. According to the statement, the destruction of the bridge disrupted military transportation routes in the area.

Pakistani authorities have not issued official statements confirming the casualty figures or operational claims made by the armed groups.
