Teaching activities at the University of Balochistan have resumed, but students say continued hostel closures are creating difficulties for those returning from remote areas.
Female students who had travelled to Quetta to pursue their education said they were facing accommodation problems due to the ongoing closure of the girls’ hostel.
They said the university administration had instructed them to renew hostel forms, which they had completed, but no further progress had been made toward reopening the facilities.
Affected students, including both men and women, urged the administration to reopen the hostels alongside academic activities to ease the difficulties faced by those from remote regions.
