Security operations by Pakistani forces in parts of Khuzdar district have intensified over the past two days, with local sources reporting that seven individuals have been allegedly detained and shifted to an undisclosed location.
According to information received from Khuzdar, Pakistani forces are conducting a large-scale operation in various areas, with significant troop movement observed in Ornach and Giresha. Residents report heavy ground activity, accompanied by accounts of aerial surveillance in parts of the region.
Sources from Gresha confirm that during the operation, seven people have been taken into custody and subsequently moved to an unknown location. Those detained have been identified as Arif s/o Gaijan, Zahid Baloch, Basheer Baloch s/o Zahir Khan, Zameer s/o Abdul Wahid, Saleem Baloch, Zahoor Baloch, and Fateh Baloch.
According to local accounts, none of the detained individuals have been presented publicly or allowed contact with their families, raising serious concerns within the community.
Reports indicate that the military’s advance continues in Giresha and Ornach, where residents say security forces have expanded their ground presence. However, there has been no official statement from the authorities regarding the detentions, the objectives of the operation, or the broader situation in the area.
