Four individuals have reportedly gone missing in Kech district, allegedly after being detained by Pakistani law enforcement forces.

According to reports, three individuals — identified as Shah Malik, son of Bahram, Ali Jan, son of Shah Malik, and Bilal son of Younis — were allegedly taken during a midnight raid in the Gebun area of Turbat. Local sources claim the detentions occurred around 3:00 AM on Saturday, after which their whereabouts have remained unknown.

Separately, another individual, Shaukat son of Ayub, was allegedly detained between Wednesday and Thursday in the Balicha area of Tump Tehsil. According to his family, Shaukat was taken from his home at approximately 11:00 PM on April 23. He had been operating a small food stall in front of his house before his disappearance. Three days have passed with no information regarding his location.

Forced disappearances have long been a concern in Balochistan. Human rights organisations and nationalist groups allege that such incidents have persisted for over two decades, with thousands of individuals reportedly missing and numerous deaths attributed to extrajudicial torture and alleged fake encounters by Pakistani law enforcement forces
