The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for two separate attacks targeting Pakistani security forces in the Tump and Kharan regions of Balochistan.
In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said the group’s fighters launched an attack on a security checkpoint in the Asiabad area of Tump at approximately 9:00 PM on 6 April.
“Multiple grenade launcher rounds were fired and struck their intended targets. As a result, the occupying forces suffered both human and material losses,” the statement said.
The spokesperson added that, at the same time, BLF fighters also targeted a checkpoint in the Jozan area of Kharan city with a hand grenade, causing “partial damage” to the personnel stationed there.
The group said both operations were part of its ongoing armed resistance and reaffirmed its commitment to continue attacks until the “liberation of Balochistan” is achieved.
