Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that certain elements are using weapons, social media, and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to engage in anti-state activities.
He stated that AI-powered content on social media is being used to highlight negative aspects of Balochistan while positive developments are being pushed into the background. He further claimed that anti-state campaigns are being run from abroad through social media networks, aiming to influence and manipulate young minds.
The Chief Minister urged the youth to focus on education and recognize these “conspiracies.” He warned that some elements are trying to mislead them towards “futile” causes – referring to the movement for independence of Balochistan – adding that violence is not a path to any country’s progress.
In the era of artificial intelligence, he emphasized that young people have a moral responsibility to distinguish between truth and propaganda. He accused anti-state forces of using misinformation and social media to distance the youth from the state.
CM Bugti called for national unity in rejecting such narratives, stating that local government institutions can play a crucial role in countering these influences.
