Reports from Barkhan indicate that four individuals have allegedly been allegedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces.
According to local residents, the four individuals were ‘abducted’ on the night of February 20 and transferred to an undisclosed location. The missing persons have been identified as Ghulam Fareed s/o Haji Ramzan, Khalid s/o Sardar Khan, Sardar Khan, and Ghulam Rasool s/o Haji Nizamuddin.
The families of the missing individuals have called for their safe recovery, while political and human rights organizations have raised concerns over the rising cases of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
