Pakistani security forces raided a militant hideout in the Kachhi (Bolan) district of Balochistan on Monday, killing 27 insurgents, the military claimed.
According to the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 27 militants were killed in an exchange of fire during an intelligence-based operation in Kachhi.
The ISPR stated that during the operation, troops stealthily surrounded and effectively engaged the militants’ location. Following an intense exchange of fire, 27 insurgents were killed.
“Multiple hideouts, along with caches of arms, ammunition, and explosives, were also destroyed during the operation,” the statement added.
The ISPR did not disclose the identities of the slain militants, and no armed group has commented on the incident so far.
