The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for killing Dashti Khan, described as an alleged agent for Pakistan’s Military Intelligence (MI), in Quetta.

In a media statement on Monday, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said, “Our fighters shot and neutralized Dashti Khan, an agent and operative of the Pakistani army’s secret agency, Military Intelligence (MI), in Quetta last night.”

The BLA alleged that Khan, son of Amanullah and a resident of Saryab, had supported “death squads” and Pakistani intelligence agencies, including the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).

They further accused him of “direct involvement in the forced disappearance of Baloch youth and their killing in staged encounters.”

The BLA also claimed that Khan was involved in extortion and blackmail. “Dashti Khan was sentenced to death by the ‘Baloch National Court,’” the spokesperson added, stating that the BLA had “executed” this sentence.

Meanwhile, the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) claimed responsibility for an attack on a Pakistani military checkpoint in Noshki’s Zareen forest on Sunday.

In a media statement, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said, “Two enemy personnel were eliminated, and four others wounded.”

He added that the assault, which lasted 20 minutes, involved the use of “heavy, modern weapons.”

The BLF also reported multiple attacks on Pakistani military convoys in Kolwah on Sunday.

According to Major Gwahram Baloch, the first ambush occurred at 12:30 PM in the Marastan area, killing five soldiers.

A second attack followed an hour later near Kadday Hotel, resulting in four additional fatalities.

The BLF said that heavy weaponry was used, disabling several vehicles.

In a separate attack on the same day, BLF fighters targeted a construction company working on the CPEC link road in Kharan, setting machinery ablaze.

The BLF reiterated its opposition to “imperialist projects” on Baloch land.

Unclaimed Attacks in Gwadar and Awaran

Separately, in Gwadar, three Pakistan Coast Guard personnel, including a Major, were injured when unknown assailants opened fire on a patrol between Ormara and Kalmat.

The injured, identified as Major Jalaluddin, Tauseef Umar, and Abrar, were initially treated in Ormara and later transferred to Karachi.

No group has claimed responsibility.

In Awaran, unidentified gunmen attacked Levies personnel in the Gishkor Hoor area, seizing at least ten firearms.

No casualties were reported, and no group has claimed responsibility.
