Two police officers are among the three victims who died as a result of explosions in Balochistan’s Quetta and district Kech.

In Quetta’s Kuchlak area, a police mobile was reportedly targeted in a blast on Friday, resulting in the deaths of two officers, including a sub-inspector, and injuring another. The deceased officers have been identified as Sub-Inspector Zainuddin and Sepoy Muhammad Tahir. 

Police sources stated that the explosion caused significant damage to the police van. They claimed that the personnel from the New Kuchlak police station were on a routine patrol when they were targeted. However, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. 

In a separate incident in Balochistan’s Kech district, one person was killed in an explosion. According to the police, the incident occurred on Friday night near the Josk Date Market on the M8 Quetta to Turbat road. The deceased, identified as Altaf, son of Murad Muhammad, a resident of Apsar, reportedly died on the spot while planting an IED. 

The Levies Force transported the body to the Teaching Hospital in Turbat. However, other sources have yet to confirm the details of this incident.
