A protest was held in Quetta on Sunday, demanding the recovery of Mr. Noor Alam Marri, who has been missing for seven years, as well as other forcibly disappeared individuals.

The demonstration, organized by Mr. Marri’s family with the support of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), saw protesters march through key areas of the city, including Court Road, Circular Road, Jinnah Road, and Mannan Chowk.

Protesters chanted slogans calling for the recovery of Mr. Marri and others who have been missing for years. They carried banners and placards, highlighting the ongoing issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.

Mr. Noor Alam Marri, the son of Dilshad Marri, was reportedly taken during a military operation in Harnai seven years ago. His family says there has been no information about his whereabouts since his disappearance, and his elderly mother is still waiting for his return.

The protesters demanded that if any of the missing individuals, including Mr. Noor Alam, are facing charges, they should be brought before the courts. They urged authorities to release those who have not committed any crimes, to end the prolonged suffering of their families.
