A gas pipeline running from the Sui gas field to the Uch Power Plant in Balochistan was destroyed in an explosion late Wednesday night, according to local sources.
The blast occurred in the Rabi area, where unknown attackers used explosives to damage the pipeline. As a result, gas supply to the Uch Power Plant has been disrupted.
Following the explosion, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down those responsible. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
