Four people, including three children, have drowned in two separate incidents in the Bela and Hub areas of Balochistan following heavy rains that have flooded local streams.
In Hub, a man drowned while swimming in the Hub River. His body was recovered by the Edhi rescue team and transported to Hub Hospital for identification.
In a separate incident in Bela, three children aged between ten and twelve drowned in the Goth Ismailani stream. The victims, two girls and a boy from the same family, were retrieved from the water by local rescue teams.
In addition to these incidents, more than 75 goats were killed by a lightning strike in the mountainous region of Kunraj. Local reports indicate that the lightning struck during a severe thunderstorm, resulting in significant livestock loss.
