Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) protest camp, demanding the safe recovery of missing victims, has completed 5529 days. A delegation of students from Koh-e-Sulaiman, Lateef Baloch, Saddam Baloch, Asfand Jan Baloch, and Saleem Jan Baloch visited the camp in solidarity with the families of the victims.
Mama Qadeer, the Vice Chairman of VBMP, stated that Baloch’s peaceful struggle for the recovery of their loved ones is at its peak today with its historical continuity. The state, fed up with its defeat, has resorted to inhumane violence in the most heinous manner.
He added that political activists, intellectuals, students, doctors, and lawyers were forcibly detained and their mutilated bodies were thrown in the deserts. Many were forced to leave their homes and the operation of the army further expanded.
Qadeer Baloch further added, “We appeal to the United Nations and International Human Rights Organizations to take action against the human rights violations in Balochistan by Pakistani forces and the state brutalities.”
