A Baloch man reportedly went ‘missing’ from the Awaran district of Balochistan.
According to reports, Pakistani forces allegedly forcibly detained a man named Zameer, son of Muhammad.
The human rights department of the Baloch National Movement (BNM) “PANK” said that Zameer was detained by the Pakistani army from the Machi Malar area of the district on July 9th. Since then, his whereabouts remain unknown.
It is pertinent to mention that enforced disappearances are a daily occurrence in Balochistan. According to the nationalists in Balochistan, the silence of international organizations over forced disappearances has become a significant concern for the Baloch people.
