Dr. Mahrang Baloch, a prominent human rights activist and leader of the Baloch Yakjehthi Committee, recently met with the children of Nobel laureate Narges Mohammadi and journalist Elisabeth Eide in Norway. Dr. Mahrang is in Norway to participate in a program focused on human rights and activism.

In a post on social media, Dr. Mahrang shared that it was an honour to meet the two young children of the brave and courageous 2023 Nobel Prize winner, Narges Mohammadi, at a reception dinner hosted by the Norwegian Helsinki Committee. The event was presided over by Jørgen Watne Frydnes, the head of the Norwegian Nobel Prize Committee and Secretary General of Norsk PEN.

Dr. Mahrang also expressed her honour in meeting Norwegian journalist and former professor Elisabeth Eide.

She noted that women in Iran and Balochistan face similar challenges, and she hopes that these meetings will continue and that the cooperation will persist in the future.

The program in Norway will begin tomorrow and will continue for three days, with numerous participants from around the world expected to attend.
