Another miner lost his life in a landslide at a coal mine site in the Dukki district of Balochistan on Friday.
According to hospital sources, the deceased miner has been identified as Sanaullah, son of Fazal Karim, a resident of Afghanistan.
The body was handed over to the family members and sent to Afghanistan after necessary actions taken at the Civil Hospital.
It should be mentioned that incidents of this nature have become common at coal mine sites in Dukki and other parts of Balochistan, largely due to the unavailability of necessary equipment for miners.
As per reports, at least 20,000 laborers employed across Balochistan in 2,500 mines are not provided enough facilities, and on the other hand, they receive minimum wages by which they can barely run their households.
