On Sunday, a man named Mohammad Ashraf Bizenjo was killed by unidentified assailants at Zero Point in Khuzdar district of Balochistan. The assailants escaped the scene unhurt.
Following the incident, the body of the deceased was shifted to the hospital. After the necessary actions by the local administration, the body of the deceased was handed over to the heirs.
Later, Khuzdar police aired a denial news stating that the death of Muhammad Ashraf Bizenjo was not a murder but an accident, on which the family of the deceased brought his body to the RCD highway and staged a sit-in protesting the “fake news”. The closure of the highway caused the suspension of the traffic and led to the queues of vehicles on the road.
The administration held talks with the victim’s family and agreed to their demands and after successful negotiations, an FIR was registered against the assailants. Following the successful negotiations, the relatives of the deceased ended their protest and went to bury the dead body.
