Unidentified individuals targeted a supply vehicle of the Pakistan Army in the Bolan area of Balochistan on Tuesday.

The incident occurred in the Jafari area of Margat (Bolan), where unidentified persons attacked a Pakistani army vehicle using an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The vehicle was supplying rations to a nearby army post in the area.

Local sources have confirmed to a TBP correspondent that fatalities were suffered by the forces in the attack. However, government officials or military authorities have not yet commented on the matter.

The “pro-independence” Baloch armed group, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), claimed responsibility for the bombing in a media statement released on Tuesday.

BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch told the media that “at least three enemy personnel were killed in the attack and the vehicle was completely destroyed.”
