A vehicle belonging to Pakistani forces was reportedly targeted in an explosion by unidentified individuals in Gwadar, the port city of Balochistan on Thursday night.
According to reports, Unidentified individuals targeted the vehicle of Pakistani forces’ vehicle with a hand grenade in Mullaband area of Gwadar. The attackers escaped unhurt after the incident.
Soon after the blast, more forces reached the spot and collected evidence and since then there has been a strict blockade in the area.
Local sources confirmed that Pakistani soldiers suffered casualties in the blast. However, local authorities and government officials have not yet confirmed or denied the incident.
Meanwhile, A Baloch “pro-independence” armed group, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack. Jeeyand Baloch, spokesperson for the BLA said in a press relase that their fighters attacked a Pakistan army personnel’s vehicle with a hand grenade bomb, which resulted in injuring three Pakistani soldiers and destroying their vehicle.
