Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) protest camp, demanding the safe recovery of missing victims, has completed 5188 days. Political and social workers Taj Muhammad, Allah Dad Baloch, and women from various denominations came to express solidarity with the families of the victims.
Mama Qadeer, the Vice Chairman of VBMP, stated that Balochistan’s national movement has heightened the national and political consciousness of women by involving them in significant roles. Baloch women have been actively participating in political activities from the very beginning, contributing to the movement through rallies, hunger strike camps, and seminars. They are playing a crucial role in advancing this movement in a systematic manner. As time has passed, the movement has grown stronger, making sacrifices even more essential, Mama Qadeer stated.
Mama Qadeer Baloch emphasized that the determination and courage exhibited by the mothers of all the martyrs have inspired the peaceful struggle’s participants. He further said that Pakistani tactics have been ineffective due to the continuity and successful strategies employed in the national movement. “Fearing defeat, Pakistan has been compelled to simultaneously employ multiple strategies to quell the national movement within a short period. However, Pakistan’s strategies are facing failures due to internal contradictions,” he added.
Mama Qadeer pointed out that on one hand, intelligence agencies are attempting to weaken the Baloch national struggle by forcibly detaining and dumping the dead bodies of Baloch people and carrying out targeted killings and bombings in populated areas. On the other hand, the caretaker government is actively opposing the peaceful Baloch struggle.
