A school in Buleda, within the Kech district, was subjected to gunfire by unidentified attackers on Thursday night. The incident occurred at the Saach School in Minaz Buleda where multiple bullets damaged the main entrance, as well as interiors of the school.
While there were no reported casualties, the incident has prompted the school to postpone a scheduled anti-drug walk, which was set to proceed from Saach School to the local chowk on October 27th.
School officials quickly issued a statement condemning the act, asserting their commitment to their educational mission remains undeterred. “Such heinous acts will not shake our resolve towards fostering positive initiatives,” they remarked, hinting at forthcoming decisions in response to the shooting.
This isn’t the first time educational institutions in the area have faced such hostility. Notably, several schools in Buleda and Zamuran have been set on fire in past incidents by unknown perpetrators.
