A young man, identified as Ibrahim, son of Eid Muhammad, has reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces. The incident allegedly occurred between the nights of June 3rd and 4th, and Ibrahim has not been seen in public since then.
Local sources indicate that this is not the first time Ibrahim has been targeted by the forces; he was relocated from his ancestral home in the Gajali region of Mashkay to Gajjar in 2018. It is now reported that he has been detained in Gajjar, with his current whereabouts remaining unclear.
This incident adds to the growing concerns about the Pakistani army’s actions in Balochistan. Reports consistently highlight forced relocations, with families allegedly being removed from their ancestral homes. Additionally, the Pakistani military faces criticism for its practice of summoning locals for interrogations, often detaining them for extended periods without formal charges at military camps, instilling a deep sense of distress in the local Baloch populace.
