In Tehsil Zehri of Khuzdar, relatives of a young man, reportedly killed during a Levies force raid, have staged a sit-in protest on the highway, demanding justice.

The incident occurred in the Gwaniko area, where the Levies force reportedly opened fire during a raid, leading to the death of a young individual identified as Mehrullah Mengal s/o Ghulam Haider Baranzai Mengal.

The family alleges that Mehrullah was fatally shot at his residence during the raid by the Levies. In their quest for justice, relatives and community members have gathered, staging a sit-in at the Sunny Katai area with the body of the deceased.

The family is demanding a thorough investigation into the incident and appropriate action against the Levies soldiers involved. They have indicated their intention to continue the sit-in until their demands are met.
