The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for a recent attack on a Pakistani military camp located in the Wali Thangi area of Quetta. The attack reportedly resulted in the deaths of 11 military personnel, including Subaidar Qaisar Raheem.

Jeeyand Baloch, the spokesperson for the BLA, stated that the “freedom fighters” of the BLA launched a multi-directional attack on the camp around 6 pm on September 14, 2023. According to the statement, the attack forced the stationed personnel to evacuate their posts, leaving behind weapons and ammunition.

The statement further detailed that two posts within the camp were successfully captured by the BLA fighters, and an arms depot on the camp premises was targeted and destroyed using rockets, which allegedly resulted in the death of all military personnel in close proximity. Additionally, the BLA claims to have confiscated weapons and ammunition left behind by the fleeing forces.

Concluding the statement, the BLA vowed to continue their offensive against what they refer to as “occupying Pakistani forces” in the region, pledging not to cease their activities until these forces fully withdraw from Baloch territory.
