Two people were killed, and women and children were seriously injured in a road accident in the Kech district of Balochistan on Friday.
According to reports, a man named Amir Rind was traveling from Karachi to Turbat when his car met with an accident on the highway.
Amir Rind was killed on the spot along with the driver, while the women and children in the vehicle were seriously injured in the accident, sources said
The deceased and injured were shifted to a hospital.
Such horrific road accidents happen on a daily basis in Balochistan, especially on Quetta-to-Karachi National Highway, which is also known as the “killer highway.”
According to a media report, 787 people died while 38,759 sustained injuries in traffic accidents on the aforementioned highway in the past three years.
