In a disturbing trend, the Iranian security forces have intensified their crackdown in Western Balochistan, with reports emerging of the abduction and disappearance of Baloch youths. The latest victims include Amin from Zahidan and Abdul Sattar Raiisi and Namya Jawadi Muhammad from Fanuj. These abductions follow a series of incidents where security forces and intelligence agencies have targeted individuals in the region.

In Zahidan, Amin was whisked away by Iranian forces while he was traveling home, leaving his whereabouts unknown. Similarly, in Fanuj, Abdul Sattar Raiisi and Namya Jawadi Muhammad were abducted from their homes, and their fate remains uncertain. The authorities have chosen to remain silent on these incidents, refraining from sharing any information about the abducted youths.

These disappearances come in the wake of protests that have erupted in Balochistan against the sexual abuse of an under-aged girl by Iranian Forces personnel in Chah-Bahar. The protests have drawn attention to the increasing number of illegal abductions and detentions in Western Balochistan. Tragically, more and more individuals are falling victim to these alarming incidents with each passing day.

The situation is dire, as the secretive agencies continue to operate with impunity, leaving families devastated and communities in fear. The Balochistan region
