Another man committed suicide in Gwadar city of Balochistan on Friday.
According to local sources, a young man identified as Maqsood s/o Muhammad ended his life by hanging himself in the Babbar Shor Pasni area of the city.
It is pertinent to mention that suicide rates have seen a surge in Balochistan in the last few years. Two similar incidents took place only in February this year. However, the motive behind this incident is still unknown.
Experts believe that the main reasons behind these suicide incidents are unemployment, inflation, family pressure, insurgency in Balochistan, and the counter-insurgency policies of the state — which include enforced disappearances and kill and dumps.
