Twenty-five people have been arrested in different parts of Western Balochistan by Iranian security forces after which their whereabouts remain unknown to their families.
According to sources, during multiple raids by Iranian forces in various parts of Western Balochistan including the main city of Zahedan, Sherabad, Kareemabad, and other areas almost twenty-five persons have been arrested and subsequently moved to unknown locations.
As per sources, all the abductees are between the age of 15 to 25 years and the majority of them are students.
The missing persons have been identified as Ali Akbar Kubdani, Mohammad Brohi, Ilyas Reki, Nematullah Sargulzai, Ali Brohi, Yaseen Arbab, Bilal Totazai, Ehsaan Ehdoon, Benyamin Kohkan, Ilyas Kohkan, Mohammad Gorgej, Isaq Reki, Kareem Kashani, Saeed, Ehsaan Sargulzai, Mansoor Sarani, Ehsaan Rakshani, Mahdi Narozai, Arif, Aziz Shah Bux, Abdul Kaliq, Kabeez Reki, Shehryar Hasanzai, Adal Mohammadzai, Ali Tamarda, and Shakoor Reki.
The sources added that the students were arrested after the forces opened fire on them, and one person was injured due to the heavy firing during the raids.
The police claimed that the persons who have been detained are foreigners and illegally residing in Balochistan but later on, some of their families identified them and proved that they belong to the Zahedan area of Balochistan.
According to local sources, the previous “Damagdar” Mohammad Karimi has taken the post of Zahidan’s Sefa after which the abduction and detention of the people have been intensified in Zahedan and adjoined areas.
