Two soldiers of the Pakistani forces were killed and multiple others wounded as the security forces clashed with the fighters of the Balochistan Liberation Front in Dasht, sources have revealed.

According to reports, the Pakistani forces were carrying out a large-scale military operation in the Mazanband area of tehsil Dasht for three days. The forces were rapidly advancing in other areas, including Askani Gar, Takard Tog and Nokai Rah. During these operations, the forces clashed with fighters of the Balochistan Liberation Front, and they sustained multiple casualties, including two deaths.

The Balochistan Liberation Front confirmed the clash in a media statement, saying that the BLF fighters ambushed the Pakistani forces at Nokai Rah using heavy weaponry on Thursday. The group said that the two sides also clashed on Friday in the same area, where two soldiers of the Pakistani forces were killed and several others wounded.

The BLF said the security forces are carrying out military operations in the region for three consecutive days. The land forces, aided by aerial support, are rapidly advancing in the areas. But they have failed to make any gains, as the BLF fighters are adapted to the mountain lifestyle and pushed back effectively.
