Renowned Balochi writer and poet Abid Askani’s collection of satire and Humor has been published by Rabidan Publisher. The book contains thousand and one hundred pages, which is also the collection of his previously published six books.

Speaking to The Balochistan Post regarding his newly published work, Mr. Askani said he has been working on his capacity for the last forty years for the progress of his mother language, Balochi. “I have been able to publish at least 20 books and many articles in this regard”, he stated. 

“Although my books have been mostly published in Eastern Balochistan and due to the social changes in the area I faced a lot of difficulties in making the way for publishing my books further. Then on the advice of my friends that I should publish my books in Western Balochistan, so I decided to start publishing my books in Western Balochistan, and until now, I have succeeded to publish my five Books here so far,” he added while speaking to the TBP reporter

Furthermore, he mentioned the names of the five books he has been successful to publish in western Balochistan, which are: Jangi o Mir Zangi, which is also translated into Farsi. 2. Baloch, Balochi o Balochistan, 3. Be liteken brak, 4. Dil geret o dap bichkandi and the fifth one is the collection of satire and humor which contains more than 1100 pages. In addition to this, he said the happiest point in this regard is that this book has been published through declaration. 

Speaking to the TBP reporter he further added that along with these books three of his books are in the process of publishing. “My biggest collection is of the ghazals which will soon get on its way to publishing, it contains more than 1500 pages”, Mr. Askani said. 

He further thanked the people who helped him in publishing his work; referring to them he said “Ie couldn’t publish these books without your help and support.”

he concluded by thanking his readers and especially he thanked many people including Haji Ghulam Haider Kazori, Waja Mohammad Prahi, Professor Abdul Hameed, and Waja Meerain Askani from Western Balochistan for their “unconditional help and support.”
