A vehicle carrying supplies to Pakistani forces has been targeted in a bomb attack in Kalat district of Balochistan.
As per the reports, the bomb blast took place in Johan area of Kalat on Sunday, killing two persons in the vehicle on the spot.
The responsibility for the attack was taken by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a “pro-independence” armed group, on Monday. BLA has also released a video of the attack on its official media channel. The video shows a massive blast blowing up a Shehroz truck — which BLA claimed is the ration supply vehicle for Pakistani security forces.
Jeeyand Baloch, the group’s spokesperson said in a press release that BLA fighters destroyed a supply vehicle of Pakistani military with an IED in Johan, Kalat last night[Sunday night]. The IED attack destroyed the vehicle and two collaborators of the “enemy forces” were killed, the statement reads.
“We have made it clear several times that people should refrain from collaborating with the enemy. BLA once again warns that anyone found collaborating with the enemy will be targeted,” BLA spokesperson said.
The two men killed in the blast have been identified as driver Nader Khan and his companion Muhammad Asghar. According to sources, the vehicle was targeted when it was returning after delivering supplies to a Pakistan military outpost.
