A woman and child are among the seven who were wounded in a grenade attack in Quetta on Tuesday.

According to the details, the attack occurred on Quetta’s Mekangi Road where unidentified men threw a grenade near a bakery and fled. A woman, a young girl and several police officers were wounded in the attack. The glasses of the nearby shops were also shattered due to the shockwave of the blast.

In a separate incident, unknown men blew up a cellular tower in Union Council Gazg in Kalat and fled. The police said the machinery was destroyed and the tower was rendered useless. The assailants also opened heavy fire on the tower after blowing it up.
