The detainees have been identified as Zahoor s/o Muhammad Ali, Asghar s/o Muhammad Ali, Ashfaq s/o Abdul Khaliq and Shakoor.

Sources said that a large number of forces sieged the Parom area, arrested the said persons and confiscated their belongings.

Furthermore, there are reports from Kech district, that Pakistani forces have disappeared two people from Turbat area of Kech on March 20. They have been identified as Akbar s/o Master Aslam and Naeem s/o Rehmat.

The spike in enforced disappearances of Baloch youth has been meted with increased number of protests by Baloch students and others across Pakistan.

Baloch Students in Islamabad who have been on a sit-in protest for the safe recovery of their fellow student Hafeez Baloch, boycotted their classes on 21st March. Baloch students in Karachi also boycotted their classes and showed solidarity with Baloch students and demanded the safe release of Hafeez Baloch.
