Pakistani forces have reportedly detained four persons including a businessman and social media activist from Panjgur district of Balochistan.

According to details, forces raided various areas of Panjgur last night and detained four persons. Detainees have been reportedly shifted to an unknown location. Hence, their whereabouts are unknown since.

The four missing men have been identified as, Malik Miran, Balach, Aqeel and Shabbir. Among them, Malik Miran was abducted from Issa area and the rest were from Vashbud area of Panjgur.

Malik Miran’s brother, Bashir Ahmed says that “the Pakistani army and its agents on Monday morning at 4:00 am, raided the house of my younger brother Malik Miran son of Abdul Rashid and took him away.” He further said that his family members were harassed and valuables, including a pick-up truck were looted by the army personnel.”

In another incident on Saturday, dead body of a man was recovered from Chitkan area of Panjgur. According to the locals, the deceased was identified as, Nadeem Abdal, a mentally unwell person, who was shot dead by the Pakistani military personnel.

It is to mention that after militant attacks by Baloch armed group in Noshki and Panjgur district, both the towns were in curfew for several days. During the clashes with the “pro-independence armed groups, Pakistani forces have reportedly forcibly disappeared and shot killed several civilians. As per reports, the raids and enforced disappearances by the forces have also been increased across Balochistan, after the attacks.

According to details, Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies raided the house of Haji Nisar Ahmed Sarparah, on Mengal Street in Quetta. During the raid, forces detained Haroon Waleed son of Haji Nisar Ahmed from his house and moved him to an unknown location.

Local sources confirmed the incident saying that people inside the house were injured due to the violence used by the forces’ personnel.

Similarly, a social worker named Nadeem Hasrat along with his friend Mustafa were also forcibly disappeared from Turbat city of district Kech. Both the abductees were volunteers with a social work organisation, Ehsaas Welfare Trust. The organisation has also confirmed the enforced disappearance of its both volunteers.

According to reports received by The Balochistan Post on Saturday, Pakistani forces arrested three youths in Sibi district of Balochistan, one in Dera Murad Jamali and one in Raees Goth area of ​​Karachi, who is a resident of Panjgur, Balochistan.

As per the sources, Pakistani intelligence agencies arrested Hayat son of Zangi, Atwar Gorgage and Hashim Domki from Sibi and transferred them to an unknown location.

While, on Saturday morning, Muhammad Khan son of Nabi Bakhsh Bugti was arrested and disappeared allegedly by the Pakistani security forces in Dera Murad Jamali area.

Relatives of the missing persons have said that the local police is not registering their FIRs. The families fear that their loved ones might be killed in “fake encounters” like other missing persons.

Meanwhile, Meraj son of Assa, a resident of Koh-e-Ban area of ​​Panjgur was also reported missing from Raees Goth area of ​​Karachi. According to his family members, Pakistan Rangers and intelligence agents raided the house in Raees Goth at around 4 am, on Saturday, where he was living. “Meraj was then abducted by the Pakistani forces and he is missing since,” the family said.
