Pakistani Forces vehicle was targeted with an IED in Kech district of Balochistan, on Thursday.

According to details, Pakistani forces patrolling vehicle was targeted with an improvised explosive device (IED) in Zumran area of ​​Buleda Tehsil.

The forces vehicle was hit in the Paganzan area as they were passing through the area in a convoy.

Forces cordoned off the area after the blast, but no arrests were made until further notice. Authorities have not yet commented on the casualties.

Whereas, a Baloch ‘pro-independence’ organisation, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for this attack in a media released statement.

BLF’s spokesman “Major Gwahram Baloch” claimed that the blast resulted in ‘damages to the vehicle and killed three personnel of Pakistani forces while four others were wounded’.

In recent years, Balochistan has witnessed an increase in attacks.
